GWTC Hall of Famer and past president, Charlie Yates, was unable to successfully defend the last place position. Charlie made a valiant effort though finishing next to last in 57:45.
The weather was outstanding and the course was not bad. It did feature a lot of sand and a clear-cut area where the forest service had not removed all of the cut trees.
