“Record low” temperatures, the weather man teased. A reasonably fast 8K course, runners thought. Just the right mix for a fast time. Oh well, so much for promises as the morning produced 70+ degree temperatures.
Gary Droze and Sarah Docter-Williams collected the first place awards, Gary in a time of 26:46 and Sarah in a time of 29:58.
The race raised $720 for the Big Brothers and Sisters. Paul Hiers was race director and keep all of the trains running right on time.
