David Ogletree returned to the winners circle with a 15:59 performance, earning him 30 grand prix points. Sarah Docter-Williams ran “another fastest in a long time” performance of 17:22 to win top prize for the women.
A cool morning gave way to sunshine and warm temperatures as 137 runners completed this benefit for Belle Vue Middle school’s “Ready to Learn Fund.” Doug Gorton (16:58) and Jane Johnson (18:07) were the masters winners.
The 5K race graded team competition based on age grading. Steve Ganley (5:56) won a close battle over Logan Wolcott (5:58) in the mile race. Kelly Savery was the first girl (7:49).
