Women's Distance Festival

Date: September [15th or 22nd], 2018. Location: Optimist Park.

Lisa Unger has become a very experienced director of this event and the quality of the race  proves it. The emphasis is on celebrating women in sports, and the women often outnumber and out run the men in this race through Indian Head Acres. It has a unique twist in that the women start 5 minutes before the men. The race began with Dot Skofronick and Shirley Bull as race directors in 1982.
