Track programs to see STI proceeds

Manny Joanos announced on Thursday April 29th, that net proceeds from the Seminole Invitational Track Meet will be enough to award nine schools in Leon County $725 each for their track and field programs. In addition, to the announcement about the check, Joanos made the following statement:

Special thanks go to Gulf Winds Track Club for their volunteer efforts, cash contribution of their share and in-kind contributions valued well over $1000.00. To Capital City Kiwanis Club for their volunteer efforts and event sponsorship, to the TDC and Sports Council for their continued cash and technical support efforts and of course our Gold Sponsor Envision Credit Union that has graciously supported our event since the beginning and a $5,000.00 check for the past two years. I hope this money will come in handy as you prepare for state meet.
