Present: Julie Clark, David Yon, Bill Lott, Jackie McDaniel, Tom Perkins, Herb Wills, Jerry Chesnutt, Mark Priddy, Fred Deckert, Margarete Deckert, and Mary Jean Yon
Bill Lott called the meeting to order at 7:34 p.m. Quorum was established.
The Board reviewed the May minutes. A motion was made, seconded and passed by unanimous vote to accept the minutes as presented.
New Business
Board members discussed the need to fill the vacant position on the Grand Prix Committee due to Julie Clark’s recent resignation. After some discussion, it was decided that the Grand Prix Committee members should review the names of candidates and make a recommendation to the Board.
Treasurer’s Report – Jerry Chesnutt
Currently there is $15,544.41 in the Club’s checking account, and $77,127.83 in a certificate of deposit. The Chenoweth Fund has $16,524.47 and the Tri Club has $7,336.87.
Membership Report –Mark Priddy
The Club has 1,189 members in 631 households including 40 new members in 20 households this month.
Race Director Coordinator Report – Charlie Yates
Charlie reported that he has received a lot of inquiries from new race directors requesting information on how to direct a race as well as available dates on the GWTC calendar.
Newsletter Report –Fred Deckert

Clothing Coordinator Report –Margarete Deckert
Margarete sold a few items this month. 60 pair of recycled running shoes were given away at the Summer Track Series which started June 3 at Maclay track. Margarete reminded us that there is a box at the front desk at Premier Health and Fitness Center for recycling gently used, clean running shoes.
Equipment Report –Vicky Verano

Website Report – David Yon
David reported that the race director’s handbook has been updated and posted on the website.
Chenoweth Fund Report – David Yon
David reported that the Chenoweth Committee approved four awards to be given out at the Pot Luck Bash and Social on June 5. These awards are $500 each and are awarded to the top high school cross-country and track and field athletes in the area. This year they were awarded to Nicola Shingles, boys track, Wakulla High; Kayla Parker, girls track, Port St. Joe; Riley Doherty, boys cross-country, Leon High and Stefanie Kurgatt, girls cross-country, Maclay. A motion was made to approve this request, seconded, and approved by unanimous vote.
Paul Hoover, on behalf of Wakulla High School, requested $1,000 for camp expenses for school runners. The Chenoweth Committee approved $1,000. A motion was made to approve this request. The motion was seconded and approved by unanimous vote.
Gary Droze requested $1,000 for the summer running camp, Summer Mornings Include Running Fitness (SMIRF). The Chenoweth Committee approved $1,000. A motion was made to approve this request, seconded and approved by unanimous vote.

There being no further business to discuss, a motion to adjourn was made, seconded and passed unanimously at 8:24 p.m.
