- Ted Terry coming out of the woods. Ted was the fourth Florida High runner to finish under 18 minutes.
- Coach Gary Droze coming out of the woods. It is rare in any race to see Gary finish 3rd, but Gary has owned the Bash in the 90’s finishing 1st eight times, 2nd once and sitting one year out.
- Pictured are the 3-mile top six male and female finishers. Not pictured is the 2nd female finisher Megal Atias and the 5th male finisher Scott Poindexter, both from Lincoln High School.
- James Dexter coming out of the woods. Pictured just behind James is Donny Douglas of the Florida High team. Donny ended up 3 seconds faster than James in one of the most exciting finishes of the day.

- Tom Kunish, age 20, coming out of the woods. He was the first 3-mile finisher.
