SOME MORNINGS… Some mornings are beyond description. We started our run from the Thornton Road parking area on the Greenways and headed towards Fleishmann Road. There isn’t much ground fog here, but there is in the spring and in Autumn. It was thick this morning, it envelops us like a warm, protective cloak. We are tip toeing in the clouds or so it seems.

Sounds are muted. Coming back from the turnaround, the sun was up and I saw that the big field at Edenfield had been freshly mowed. It shimmered emerald green, maybe the unaccustomed runner’s high? Thankfully, it is burned for all time in my memory. Some mornings…
